Dr. Safdar Ghani and his colleagues have made this discovery in a recent study published in the journal Cell. Dr. Ghani and his team found that RVF is transmitted by mosquitoes and enters human cells through proteins. This protein is generally similar in appearance to low-density lipoprotein. Low-Density Lipoprotein, somewhere known as bad cholesterol, is in our blood.
