  • Vata is formed from air and sky.
  • Fire and water make bile.
  • Kapha is formed from water and earth.

These three doshas are found at different levels in everyone’s body. These levels can change according to the climate and food habits.

How to remove Vata, Pitta, and Kapha during summer

Due to the scorching heat outside, our body becomes hot from the inside as well. The elements of fire and air are found at slightly higher levels which increase pitta and vata dosha in the body. During this time the fire of our digestive system is also very less. The summer season increases pitta, so such things should be eaten in this season which can calm its level in the body a little. In such things, cold things which can cool the body from inside, mostly liquid and sweet things should be consumed. Things that are more pungent, hot, sour, and salty should be avoided. In the summer season, things like milk, ghee, naturally cold fruits, coconut water, and cumin water should be consumed. These things can help in balancing this dosha. Things like milk, root vegetables, cereals, and fresh curd can also be helpful in balancing pitta dosha.

Apart from these things, you can also consume kale, dandelion, dark chocolate, neem leaves, and spices like turmeric, and cumin. These bitter things are also beneficial for the blood. It also reduces thirst and controls hunger. The digestive system works very well with these fruits.
