More women have headaches than men, research revealed
Headaches in women are slightly more than in men. This is not us but what recent research says. According to recent research conducted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, 6 percent or just one in 20 women have at least half a headache every month.
According to the research’s first author Professor Lars Jakob Stovner from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, headaches are actually a frequent problem. But the matter of concern is that this problem is increasing continuously and is taking global form.
The review, published in The Journal of Headache and Pain, found that people from high-income countries were more prone to headaches. So at the same time, this problem is seen less in people living in
low-income countries.
