1. Have a Fatty Bite as a Meal or Snack

Besides being a great waste of your sports session, it also slows down the digestion process. A better option is to get fast nutrients that are easily absorbed into the bloodstream and cells.

2.Sitting Still After Exercise

It’s understandable that after you’ve worked yourself out in the gym, you don’t feel like being very active anymore. Nevertheless, it is important not to sit and do nothing, as your body will get stuck. Of course you can just   grab the foam roller , which can be easily combined with Netflix.

3. Forgetting to Hydrate

During sweating you lose a lot of moisture, so it is extra important to drink a lot of water after exercising. You can also promote recovery through healthy sports drinks and a carbohydrate-rich meal.

4. Do Not Stretch After Exercise

Your muscles have toiled a lot during a big workout session, so it’s oh so important to stretch well afterwards. It only takes you a few minutes and if you don’t do this, you will have a faster chance of injury.

5.Sleeping Too Little

Because your body recovers the most when you sleep, a good night’s sleep is really important. So really try to give your body the rest it needs by getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night.
